Professor Saydimurad Ismailov, Director of the Center for Surgery, paid an official visit to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (SAHZU) — a long-standing and major partner of Uzbekistan in the People’s Republic of China.
The visit took place at the official invitation of Professor Wang Weiling, Head of the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University.

During the visit, Professor Ismailov exchanged views with his colleagues on advanced practices in modern medicine, innovative surgical techniques, and prospects for scientific collaboration.

He also toured SAHZU’s modern 5G Internet Center, as well as its intensive care and operating units equipped with the latest medical technologies.

As part of the visit, the parties discussed future cooperation opportunities and plans for mutual exchange of experience between the two institutions.
