Today, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov was visited by a delegation from the People's Republic of China. The delegation included representatives of the International Exchange and Cooperation Committee of the National Health Commission of the PRC, as well as representatives of Chinese medical equipment and technology manufacturers. The delegation was led by Yin Haiyang, Deputy Director of the Committee.

The meeting was held in a substantive and constructive format. Company representatives showcased modern medical technologies and products, discussing prospective areas of partnership with the Center's specialists.

Key strategic initiatives were addressed separately with officials from the PRC government body, including personnel training, conducting joint surgical operations, scientific research activities, and advancing long-term cooperation between medical institutions of the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to proceed with developing concrete joint initiatives and continuing collaborative work.
