The dialogue was organized to prevent corruption risks in the healthcare system, examine citizens' appeals on-site, identify problems and shortcomings in the sector, further improve the quality and transparency of medical services, and find swift and practical solutions to issues concerning the public.
During the event, nearly 50 appeals received from citizens, healthcare workers, and entrepreneurs operating in the sector were reviewed. Most of the appeals were resolved on the spot, while issues requiring further investigation were put under supervision. Specifically, several patients were provided with referrals for treatment funded by state budget, and positive solutions were found for employment-related inquiries.
Another objective of this event was to eliminate corrupt practices and ensure transparency within the system, and specific measures were implemented to achieve this.
In particular, a meeting of the Ethics Commission was held at the Bukhara Regional Health Department, where disciplinary actions were taken against several responsible officials.
The commission approved an action plan to transform the region into a corruption-free zone, a media plan aimed at broadly covering these efforts, and several other documents. Additionally, a relevant training seminar was conducted.
As part of the event, an expanded medical check-up involving qualified doctors and specialists was organized, which was a highly welcome opportunity for the district's residents.
To ensure convenience for the public, mobile clinics equipped with modern diagnostic devices were deployed, allowing medical services to be provided directly on-site.
