Serdar Baltayev, a surgeon from Turkmenistan specializing in abdominal surgery, completed a professional internship at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov.

Even before his arrival, Dr. Baltayev expressed interest in the practical training opportunities at the Center. An official invitation was prepared at his request, after which he arrived in Tashkent for the internship.

During his training, the doctor actively participated in surgeries alongside the Center's specialists. The focus was on minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, including bariatric procedures such as mini-gastric bypass, as well as other modern laparoscopic procedures.

Upon completion of the internship, the Director of the Surgery Center, Professor S.I. Ismailov, ceremoniously presented Dr. Serdar Baltayev with a certificate of completion.

It's worth noting that the Surgery Center's training center offers over 33 educational and advanced training courses in various areas of modern surgery. These programs offer specialists from Uzbekistan and other countries the opportunity to master modern surgical technologies, participate in surgeries, and enhance their professional skills.
