VIENNA, March 10. /“Dunyo” News Agency/. From March 3 to 8, 2026, a scientific delegation of specialists from Uzbekistan took part in one of the largest international events in the field of medical imaging — the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), reports the correspondent of the Dunyo News Agency.
The congress traditionally brings together leading specialists, researchers, and clinicians from around the world to discuss the latest achievements in medical imaging technologies, digital innovations, and the development of international scientific cooperation.
Within the framework of the forum’s scientific program, Uzbek specialists presented several studies dedicated to key areas of modern radiology. In particular, the presentations covered multimodal diagnostics of brain tumors, the application of magnetic resonance spectroscopy, quantitative analysis of brain structures using artificial intelligence technologies, as well as the use of artificial intelligence algorithms in the analysis of computed tomography data.
In addition, Professor Nigora Juraeva of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center named after Academician V. Vakhidov moderated a scientific session titled “Advancing Practice in Radiography: Challenges, Education and Innovation.” During the session, modern approaches to radiography practice, issues related to specialist training, and the implementation of innovative technologies in the field of medical imaging were discussed.
