Mirshavkat Akbarov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Hepatobiliary Surgery and Transplantology Department at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov, has earned recognition and respect from both the public and the state due to his exceptional skills and achievements.

On the eve of the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, by the Decree of the President, he was awarded the honorary title “Distinguished Healthcare Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan.” Professor Akbarov considers this high award a recognition of the collective efforts of his entire team.
