On August 6, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Republican Specialized Surgery Center named after Academician V. Vakhidov and the Uzbekistan-Japan Youth Innovation Center.

The purpose of the signed document is to develop cooperation in the field of medicine with the Uzbekistan-Japan Youth Innovation Center, as well as with Japanese universities and research institutes. Key areas of cooperation include conducting joint scientific research, publishing scientific articles, exchanging experience in medical science and practice, and implementing exchange programs for young specialists.

This memorandum became an important step towards strengthening international scientific and educational cooperation aimed at introducing advanced technologies into the healthcare system and training highly qualified medical personnel.
