  • About the department

    The department was founded in 1998 under the leadership of A.I. Ikramov.
    The department employs 7 doctors, 4 X-ray technicians, 1 nurse and 2 orderlies.
    The department is equipped with a 3 Tesla Siemens Magneton Vida magnetic resonance tomograph, a 640-slice wide-detector computed tomograph of the latest generation “Aquillion one” version of Genesis by Toshiba, and a 128-slice multislice computed tomograph Optima 660 by GE (USA).
    During the existence of the department, 3 doctoral dissertations were defended by Ikramov A.I., Dzhuraeva N.M., as well as 4 candidate dissertations by Akilova D.N., Amirkhamzaev A.T., Vakhidova N.T., Abdukhalimova H.V., and the doctoral dissertation of Amirkhamzaev A.T. is also at the defense stage, and 4 doctoral students are preparing to defend their dissertations on the basis of the department: Khursanova D.Kh., Mirtadzhiev Z.D., Akilova G.Kh., as well as an independent applicant Davidkhodzhaeva A.A.
    From 2015 to the present day, 4 scientific state grants have been completed in the department, at present 2 scientific grants have been submitted for consideration, one of which is international.
    The department staff takes part in local and international conferences (ESR, RSNA, RORR, NRF, etc.).
    Every year, specialists undergo advanced training abroad. The department conducts research on about 6.5 thousand patients per year.
    The department annually trains clinical residents, masters, and cadets from all over the Republic.
    In 2024, the head of the department was awarded the state medal "Soglom turmush".
