Department of Cardiac Anesthesiology, Cardiac Resuscitation, Artificial Circulation and Surgery Unit

- Anesthetic care and intensive care in open and closed heart and vascular surgeries;

- Artificial circulation and assisted circulation in cardiac surgical complications in patients with congenital heart defects, acquired heart defects, ischemic heart disease;

- Anesthetic care and intensive care in newborns and children of different ages with congenital heart defects: from palliative to radical surgical interventions, including operations with critical, cyanotic, obstructive heart defects (TMS, OAS, AVK, TF, TADLV, ALCAPA, etc.);

- Anesthetic care and intensive care in reconstructive surgeries with hypoplasia and atresia of the outflow tract of the right ventricle and left ventricle, aortic hypoplasia;

- Anesthetic care and intensive care in traditional and endovascular angiographic operations for secondary forms of septal defects, acute rupture of the interventricular septum of the LV;

- Anesthetic care and intensive care in thoracotomy interventions in repeated operations with various postoperative complications, cystic formations of the lungs and pericardium, ascending, arch and descending aorta and other diseases.

Detailed description

  • About the department

    - The department was created in 2012 on the basis of the cardiac surgery block;

    - Anesthesia, artificial blood circulation and resuscitation care are performed on more than 1,500 patients per year, including children and adults, high-tech operations for congenital and acquired heart defects, ischemic heart disease;

    - The department staff has been repeatedly awarded certificates of gratitude for intensive care and care for seriously ill newborns and children of different ages, as well as adult patients, and the introduction of modern treatment protocols for various pathologies;

    - On October 6, 2012, the first cardiac surgery was performed in the department by a medical team.

    - The department staff consists of 14 anesthesiologists-resuscitators, 1 laboratory doctor.

    - the department has 4 operating rooms, 12 beds in the cardiac intensive care unit

    - Every year, specialists are sent abroad for training/advanced training

    - Joint operations for congenital heart defects, acquired heart defects, ischemic heart disease are regularly carried out with colleagues from the CIS countries and abroad

    - The department staff, represented by the head of the department, was awarded the Order of Salomatlik, II degree, for tireless and highly qualified work with patients and the implementation of modern treatment protocols for cardiac surgery patients
