The department is designed for 30 beds, equipped with the necessary equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with various cardiovascular diseases.
The department includes 3 angiographic laboratories equipped with modern angiographic systems "Phillips", as well as a laboratory of electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, equipped with a 3D navigation mapping system.
The department performs a wide range - more than 30 types - of interventional interventions for ischemic heart disease, congenital and acquired heart defects, congenital and acquired diseases of the aorta, blood vessels, heart rhythm disorders at the level of world standards.
For some types of X-ray endovascular interventions, the department occupies a leading position among the CIS countries.
More than 2,500 angiographic studies and more than 1,000 interventional interventions are performed annually.
The department's team consists of 10 interventional cardiologists and endovascular surgeons.
Every year, the department's specialists undergo training/advanced training abroad and participate in international conferences with scientific reports.
The department has established international cooperation and regularly performs joint operations with leading specialists from foreign clinics to implement the latest developments in endovascular surgery.
The department implements international grant projects to test new types of devices used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
