Today, in the conference hall of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov, a solemn event was held in honor of Professor Fazlitdin Shamsitdinovich Bakhriddinov, a devoted mentor and expert who has made a tremendous contribution to the field of surgery in our country.

Professor Bakhriddinov is a renowned surgeon who was the first in our country to introduce on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery and to successfully perform the first kidney transplantation in the republic. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 1,700 successful kidney transplants. He is a highly skilled vascular surgeon, a respected educator, and an internationally recognized medical expert.

The event was attended by the professor’s students, colleagues, doctors from various regions, and the center’s staff.

Notably, Elena Mikhailovna Borisova, a representative of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament), attended the ceremony and read aloud a congratulatory letter on behalf of the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber, Nurdinkhon Ismoilov.

In addition, warm congratulations sent on behalf of Farhodjon Khanapyaev, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, were read by his deputy, Atkham Abdurashidovich Kasimov.

Oktam Safaevich Ismoilov, head of a department within the Ministry of Health, also participated in the ceremony and officially presented the congratulatory letter sent by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Aslbek Khudoyarov.

The anniversary celebration was held in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, filled with memories and reflections. It once again highlighted the esteemed position and high regard that Professor Fazlitdin Shamsitdinovich Bakhriddinov holds in the medical and public community.
