Today, on December 13, the 107th anniversary of the birth of academician Vosit Vohidovich Vohidov is being celebrated at the Republican Specialized Surgery Scientific-Practical Medical Center, founded by him and where he served as the first director.

Around the statue erected in honor of Academician V.Vohidov, followers of the renowned surgeon gathered under the leadership of the center's administration. Director S.I. Ismailov emphasized the importance and significance of such a unique medical institution in providing high-quality surgical assistance to the population of Uzbekistan.

Additionally, academician V. Vohidov's direct disciples, Professors Nizomxodjaev Z.M. and Zufarov M.M., remembered him with great respect and admiration. All those present laid flowers at the base of the statue of Academician V.Vohidov, the founder of a major school of surgeons serving the health of our nation's population.
