On September 27 of this year, a scientific congress dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician Vosit Vohidov took place.

At the celebratory event organized to mark the occasion, I delivered a congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the staff of the center.

"We all know well and highly appreciate that this center, as the leading and reputable institution in the field of surgery in Uzbekistan, occupies a special place in the country's healthcare system, thanks to the dedicated efforts of its multinational and united team," the President's message stated.

Today, as a result of ongoing healthcare reforms in the country, the center's activities have reached a new level. Advanced and effective methods of diagnosis and treatment are being widely adopted.

In recent years, more than 200 new surgical techniques have been introduced at the clinic, and the most complex and high-tech operations are being performed. Most importantly, as noted in the President's message, our fellow citizens with serious illnesses no longer need to spend time and resources seeking treatment in foreign clinics, as they can find healing within the country.

Sincere gratitude and best wishes were extended to the entire staff of the center.

During the event, employees of the center who were honored by a Presidential decree were presented with honorary titles, orders, and medals.
