The Ministry of Health discussed reforms to the management system of the Surgery Center.

Today, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan held an important working meeting dedicated to the further development and modernization of the management system of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov.

 

The meeting was attended by Professor Saidimurad Ibragimovich Ismailov, Director of the Surgery Center, as well as invited foreign experts—General Manager Kim Chul So and Manager for Management System Development and Reform Dr. Shin Dong Eun. The meeting was moderated by Asilbek Anvarovich Khudayarov, Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 

During the meeting, the foreign managers presented their project for reforming the Surgery Center's management system, outlining their vision for the institution's future development as a modern, efficient, and sustainable medical organization.

 

The presented project envisages the development of a transparent and structured management system for the Surgery Center, the implementation of key performance indicator (KPI)-based management, the optimization of patient flows and clinical processes, the development of digital medical systems, enhanced cost and financial control, and the creation of a model for a modern surgical center capable of effectively operating, developing, and providing a high level of medical care.

 

Minister of Health Asilbek Anvarovich Khudayarov carefully reviewed the presented project and emphasized that such initiatives are fully consistent with the state policy of reforming the healthcare system.

 

It was particularly noted that the involvement of foreign specialists and management experience is being carried out at the direct request of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as healthcare modernization is a key area of ​​state policy. The President places particular emphasis on the development of medical infrastructure, the introduction of modern technologies, and the strengthening of the material and technical base of medical institutions.

 

The Minister supported the presented initiatives and noted the readiness of the Ministry of Health to facilitate their implementation, including improving outpatient service management, modernizing inpatient care, and introducing modern medical management principles.

 

The implementation of this project will significantly increase the efficiency of the Surgery Center, improve the quality of medical care, strengthen the financial stability of the institution, and create a modern management model for a large specialized medical center.
