On the second day of the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the French Healthcare Business Forum (January 19–21, 2026, Paris), the delegation of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov, headed by Director Saidmurad Ibragimovich Ismailov, together with representatives of the delegation of the Republican Research Center of Emergency Medical Care, headed by General Director Davron Bakhtiyarovich Tulyaganov, visited one of France’s leading clinics — Foch Hospital.

Foch Hospital is a renowned multidisciplinary medical center in France, widely recognized for its high level of surgical care, advanced organ transplantation program, modern oncology and abdominal surgery, as well as its active scientific and educational activities. The clinic combines cutting-edge medical technologies, state-of-the-art operating complexes, and an effective specialist training system.

During the visit, the delegation became familiar with the organization of the surgical service, the operation of surgical units, postoperative patient management systems, and the clinic’s educational programs. The Center’s specialists received comprehensive answers to their professional questions and discussed practical aspects of further cooperation.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Center of Surgery, which предусматривает:

• internships and clinical exchange programs for the Center’s surgeons
• organization of visiting master classes and lectures in Uzbekistan
• joint scientific research and publications
• exchange of clinical and educational experience

The agreements reached are aimed at introducing advanced French practices into Uzbekistan’s surgical care system and establishing long-term professional partnerships.
