The department conducts examinations under the control of X-ray or Radiography, including:
1 Lungs and mediastinal organs
2. Examination of the abdominal cavity
3. Examination of the gastrointestinal tract with countersinking
4. Fistuloscopy + graphy
5. Examination of the paranasal sinuses
6. Examination of bones and joints
The department was founded in 1975 under the leadership of Professor Adamov N.T. and the head of the department Volik N.G.
The department employs 7 radiologists, 7 X-ray laboratory technicians and 2 nurses.
The department is equipped with 2 modern digital X-ray machines "GMM OperaTSharp" and 2 portable X-ray machines of the new generation.
The department's employees take part in local and international conferences.
Every year, specialists undergo advanced training abroad.
The department conducts research on about 10,000 patients per year.
The department annually trains clinical residents, masters, and cadets from all over the Republic.
