Almost all surgical interventions are performed using modern technologies with laparoscopic and thoracoscopic access:
- extended radical operations with lymph node dissection in patients with tumors of the esophagus, stomach and intestines
- surgical interventions in patients with tumors of the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space
- operations in patients with ulcers of the duodenum and stomach
- reconstructive operations for diseases of the operated stomach (after resection or vagotomy)
- various methods of prosthetic plastic surgery for primary and secondary large, giant and recurrent ventral hernias
- surgical treatment of patients with various diaphragmatic hernias
- various options for bariatric surgery for morbid obesity and diabetes mellitus.
- The department was established in 2019 on the basis of the laser surgery center;
- About 500 high-tech operations on the abdominal and chest organs are performed per year;
- The department staff consists of 5 surgeons.
- The department is deployed on 20 beds
- Every year, specialists are sent for training/advanced training abroad
- Joint high-tech operations are regularly carried out with colleagues from the CIS countries
