Today, on December 6, 2024, the first day of a charity campaign dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the "Republican Specialized Surgery Scientific-Practical Medical Center named after Academician V. Vohidov" State Institution's polyclinic.

During this event, free medical examinations were conducted not only for patients in hospitals across the republic but also for those who have undergone liver or kidney transplantation surgeries abroad. Qualified specialists from the "Academician V. Vohidov Republican Specialized Surgery Center" provided consultations and essential tests, including general blood tests, biochemical blood tests, magnesium, iron, uric acid, general urine tests, tacrolimus concentration, rapid tests for Covid-19, ultrasound Doppler examination of the transplant, abdominal organ ultrasound, and electrocardiography—all offered completely free of charge for the patients.

On the first day of the campaign, a total of 203 patients were examined and given recommendations. Among them, 38 were patients who had undergone liver transplantation, and 165 had received kidney transplants.

The campaign was received with high spirits among patients, who expressed their gratitude to our President for the positive changes in the healthcare sector in our country.

The action at the Surgical Center will continue on December 7 as well.
